Holiday Donations
Interval House of Ottawa is a non-denominational, multicultural charity that aids women of all ethnic backgrounds and religions. We recognize and celebrate every holiday that matters to our diverse residents. Donations of holiday items are critical to ensure that all families living at Interval House of Ottawa can celebrate the days that are special to them. Toiletries, New Clothing & Other Items
Many of the women and their children who come through our doors arrive at our shelter with very little personal belongings. The items most of us take for granted can be quite expensive to purchase all at once, especially when you are starting a new life from scratch. We are always grateful for the donation of toiletries (i.e., full size shampoos/conditioners, soap, hair products, brushes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, etcetera). Additionally, the donation of new underwear, socks and other necessities are always welcome. Our residents are sincerely appreciative of your help and encouraged by your support. Gently Used Clothing & Household Items
**Unfortunately we are not able to accept gently used goods until further notice due to our impending move. Thank you for your patience!**
We all have those things lying around the house that we no longer need: old clothes, forgotten appliances, etcetera. Interval House of Ottawa is built on the generosity of others and we welcome the donation of women’s and children’s clothing, small appliances, linens, kitchenware and non-plush toys. We are also able to offer our residents information concerning larger furniture items that you may have to offer (although we are unable to store these items at our house).
Due to space considerations, items are only accepted on an as-needed basis. So if you have any gently used goods that you no longer want or need please call us at 613.234.8511 ext.210 to schedule a donation drop-off (please note that due to financial and time constraints, we are unable to pick up used donations).
