Strategic partnerships have been developed with unique players in the public and private sectors. Dr. Michelle Lem, Community Veterinary Outreach (CVO), was able to facilitate relationships with local veterinary services who will support animals within 24 hours of entering IHO. VCA Canada Alta Vista Animal Hospital and Osgoode Veterinary Services have partnered with IHO to provide pro bono examinations, vaccinations, treatment for internal and external parasites, and other minor conditions. VCA Canada Alta Vista Animal Hospital will also provide five (5) pro bono spays/neuters per year and Osgoode Veterinary Services will provide them at 50% of the cost.
